lemons and shells - progression

 

i need

to paint simplier.
i get tired of working on something and it may not need so much detail to convey the feeling.
i forget that. my analytical left brain creeps in and says... "technically, the accurate algebraic angle corresponding to color is 45º and you should aspire to put every wrinkle in.... blahblbah"
just say no. some of my best paintings are from several quick looks.
