a good start

Lemons and shells. i know. odd combination but they were there and made a nice compostion. i set it up at night with lights and took a photo and now painting from that. otherwise, i have to set up a contraption to have the room dark except for light on my canvas and the subject.  this has a ways to go but i like the looseness of the big shell. there will be a smaller one in foregrd.
